That Time of Year

I went outside to give Rosie a good brushing. Next thing I knew, I had a hoe in my hands and dirt in my hair.

I've got a long way to go.  This plot is too big for just me, I've decided.  Not sure what I can do about it.  Maybe plant half of it in pumpkin and summer squash.

Rosie found the proceedings very boring.  I didn't even finish brushing her properly.  Sounds like early onset Spring Fever, if you ask me.

  1. Nothin' but snow here, dear.

  2. Yep, snow here too. I can't wait for spring!

  3. Oh yes, I understand this completely! My problem is that I'm usually wearing my "wear in public" clothes at the time, which are quickly demoted to "dirty work only" clothes...

  4. Oh yes, Miriam, that's exactly what was going on! I had gone out earlier to get my hair cut, so not only were my "go out in public" clothes dirty, but my freshly-coiffed hair was no longer so fresh. Or coiffed. :)

  5. They're selling veggies at grocery stores now.

Thanks for dropping by--please share your thoughts!

"Every time we get comment mail, Rosie wags her tail!" (Seriously, you should see that puffy thing go.)
